Dr. Guy Félio, Infrastructure Management Specialist, RV Anderson Associates
Dr. Félio is a civil engineer with a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field as a university professor, researcher, consultant and policy advisor.
At RV Anderson since August 2015, he provides expertise and support in the areas of asset management and climate change vulnerability and adaptation of infrastructure and facilities.
He recently worked at Engineers Canada on the impacts to and adaptation of infrastructure to climate change, including the application of the PIEVC Protocol in assessing the vulnerability of infrastructure and buildings.
During his career at the National Research Council, he led the Urban Infrastructure Research group, focusing on technological and management improvements for municipal infrastructure.
In addition to serving as advisor to public agencies for the development of infrastructure strategies and policies, he is very active on professional associations’ boards and committees, and in knowledge transfer through university education and professional training. Dr. Félio was the Project Coordinator for the Canadian Infrastructure Report Card published in September 2012, and from 2010 to 2014 was Councillor in the City of Clarence-Rockland (Ontario).
